Mikenson attends Bon Berger MEBSH—Marfranc School, the first school built by New Life for Haiti in 2007. The Marfranc school is in the Grand Anse River valley, located along the main road through Marfranc on the north side of the river. There are approximately 600 children in the Marfranc school, from kindergarten through high school.
